Brazil | vs | Serbia |
China | vs | Argentina |
Australia | vs | Barbados |
Italy | vs | Philippines |
Canada | vs | Spain |
Poland | vs | USA |
Latvia | vs | Bahamas, The |
We have a couple of interesting games. You have to look on the game Canada – Spain and Poland – USA. Bot teams are one of the best and it will be clearly an very interesting games. I think that USA and Spain are the favourites but a very tight games…
In other games tough call can be on China – Argentina and Italy – Philippines. But i think Italy and China will win for sure.
The teams that are clear to win in my opinion is Lithuania, Brazil, Australia and Latvia. But all can happen like we see this on previuos games in this season…
Good luck to all and the best will win:)

This is our second interview with Natinal Team Coaches that advanced to the next round of World Senior Championships. Today we talk with Argentina coach mdemian23.
Clarín: Hello mdemian23. Thanks that you find time to answer our questions. Argentina NT had get second place in Group A. This is a success or failure??
mdemian23: This is a success. This is the first time the NT is able to advance to second round. There are some real nice teams and its always hard to advance.
Clarín: Brazil had storm by you in 119-76. If the game was played today what you want to change in your tactics for this game??
mdemian23: they have great players and an awesome coach. Can’t tell of something i would have changed. There is a difference in the level of the players but i am happy with how the guys did play.
Clarín: For you the toughest game had to be last group game with Germany. They had been a litle favorite before the game. Thanks to good fight with Brazil. But you got it clean. and won by 30 points. Talk us about preparation to this game by Argentina side.
mdemian23: Basically i decided to attack from different positions from where i was doing and gave the opportunity to some guys that did not play previous games and this made a big difference in this game.
Clarín: Now when you have secure the second place in your group what are you want to be your oponnent in next round?
mdemian23: Any opponent would be hard to beat. We have to think on us to improve and have the correct tactics no matter of the opponent.
Clarín: And our traditional last question: Who is your favorite team to win the World Senior Champinship in season 12?
mdemian23: China and Lithuania seems to be 2 of my favourites, but if you ask me who i want to be the winner.. i would say Argentina NT.
Thank you for the interview and good luck in next round of games!!!

Hello to all our fans. Today we will have an interview with Brazil National Team Coach that with his team advanced to the next round of World Senior Championships.
GLOBO: Hello GAMESAVER31 and thanks for oportuniity to do a interview with you. First question is that you will explain to our readers why a USA coach is working with Brazil National Team?
GAMERSAVER31: I had coached in Brazil Premier the last 2 seasons. It’s a great country to play in, with great players. So when the spot became open due to Wildmetal leaving the game, I jumped on the opportunity.
GLOBO: Brazil had a very easy group stage. This is a suprise to you? Germany and Argentina looked like their are no match for our team
GAMESAVER31: I was a bit surprised at the way our Brazil squad won some of those games. Germany is no slouch of a team though. And Argentina is just a player or 2 away from being very competitive.
GLOBO: What game in group stage was the tougher one in your opinion? Argentina ha gone trough but with Germany you had a litle fight for win…
GAMESAVER31: Germany was a tougher matchup for sure. I think we got lucky to get attack on attack in quarter 1. Fouling out chgilbert’s Lucca Staiger was crucial in our victory.
GLOBO: What are your goals to next stages? Brazil has a powerfull squad in this season. Do you think you and the players can go all the way to the final?
GAMESAVER31: I think we’d consider it an accomplishment to make the Final Four. But we’ll just take it one game at a time and hope to come out with a W. With all the great players and teams remaining, anything can happen.
GLOBO: With who you will wanna play in next round and who is the toughest oponnent in next round from second placed teams??
GAMESAVER31: We’ll just play whomever the schedule tells us to. I think the USA team is the best #2 team, and since I’ve never beaten a Jakrabid coached team, I’d prefer to stay out of his way until the last possible moment.
GLOBO: Who is your favorite team to win the World Senior Champinship in season 12?
GAMESAVER31: I don’t think there can be a favorite with the great teams and coaches remaining. If I had to guess, the favorite would have to be the defending champs from Poland. They’ve been here before and know what it takes to win in this type of tournament. But anything can happen with the right matchups.
Thank you for the interview and good luck in next round of games!!!

They crush Argentina in second round of games by great defense and in third round of games they outscore the Germany and after that they were comfortable on first place in their group till the end.
For the second place was a fierce battle between Argentina and Germany. Both team lose to the Brazil and the final game in round 5 decided. Germany had great start in first quarter 21-31 but after that they where a shadow for Argentina team. After Q2 Germany was losing by 9 points in whole game and their never gained momentum after that and lost by 30 points. German coach pico101 told afterwards that he don’t know what happend to the team after Q1. All Germany players was pretty devasted by Argentina win and said that their lost the game in their minds when Steve Nash in Q2 shoot from every angel and no one stop him.

China team coach is chgilbert has been China the coach for long time and in this season he build very powerfull mix of young and experience players. Watch tem carefull in next stages of WSC!!!
The second place won The Bahamas team. It was clear that their team is the best of the rest in this group and they only lost to China side in Round 3. In the rest of games they will clearly better that the oponnent.

ROUND 5
7 | Croatia | 160 – 156 | Sweden |
8 | Taiwan | 102 – 100 | Denmark |
9 | Djibouti | 109 – 136 | Lithuania |
Group C was one of most exciting in all group stage. Lithuania was clearly out of range and similar to China they ease off only in last round game with the worst team of this group. From Round 1 to 4 they just crushed the oponnent by 70-100 points a game…
The fight for second place was a diffrent game. Before the round 5 three teams had chance to get the second place. Taiwan, Denmark and Sweden. Sweden had to won the game with Croatia by at least 15-20 points and hope that Denmark will win with Taiwan only by couple points. But Sweden did not do it. Croatia was on the rise. In round 4 they beat the Taiwan by 10 points and now they won with Sweden by four.
That left Taiwan and Denmark on the game to win the promotion to next round. It was a real defensive battle from both sides. Taiwan had more to offer in Q1 when lead by Earvin Magic Johnson (16 points, 3 Rebounds) had early lead of 7 points. In Q2 Denmark was on the roll with Jan Madsen hitting 8 of 9 three pointers and get the score to only three points behind. But Earvin Magic Johnson was watching and keeping Taiwan in the game with 18 points in Q2 (34 points in whole game). In the Q3 Denmark was playing hard in offense and defense Christian Drejer 23 points and 4 steals with the help of Hansen Piafy 5 steals. The won this quarter 28-19 and was leading the game by six points.
Q4 decided. Denmark started to get the lead by next two points to 8 but after that Taiwan began to claw back. Point by point. And thanks to this shoot:
Scooby Cunce – Jump Shot Made [8 PTS] ASSIST Qiu Kong | 06:16 [15 – 6] |
Tawian was on one point lead. By 2:53 left in the game their increase the lead to four points and never gaved it away. Denmark had score last three pointer 10 seconds till the end of the game and get the score to 102-100. But after that Taiwan did not give the ball away and won the game and promotion to the next round!!!
Scooby Cunce was the hero of the last quarter and the offensive charge of Taiwan team scoring 21 points (9/9 from FG and 3/4 from the line)

5. | United Kingdom | 1 | -94 | |

10 | Spain | 133 – 118 | Belgium |
11 | Bulgaria | 172 – 143 | Albania |
12 | Australia | 86 – 69 | United Kingdom |
ROUND 5
10 | Spain | 126 – 82 | Bulgaria |
11 | Belgium | 113 – 76 | United Kingdom |
12 | Australia | 154 – 64 | Albania |
This group was two teams show. Australia and Spain was clearly get promotion from this group. Only question was who will be first and second. Answer to that question we know in third round games when both teams played each other.
Australia won the game by 11 points. They won the first quarter by 12 points and till the end of the game control the game. Australia played better defence 25 Blocks, 7 steals to only 11 and 3 steals of Spain. And they did not make stupid turnovers (only 14 to 32 of Spain).
Spain had clearly lost their momentum in the first quarter and did not get it back till the end of the game. But if the two teams play in next stages of WSC the score can easily be very diffrent. Both of those teams had potential to go all the way…

ROUND 5
13 | Switzerland | 96 – 109 | New Zealand |
14 | Barbados | 155 – 166 | Italy |
15 | Estonia | 143 – 124 | Japan |
Three nice teams: Italy, Barbados and Estonia fight next round. Italy won three first games and was clearly favorite in fourth round game with Estonia who lost in first round to Barbados and this game was one of last chance to get back to fight for promotion. They do their best with Martin Kaalma getting 41 points, and whole team getting 61 rebound to only 38 of Italy. But thei get a lot of turnovers and too few team play with low assists (only 29 in whole game). Italy was controling the game and with fourt win formly won the whole group.
Barbados have a little tougher job. In first round they played with Estonia a very tough game. Estonia pushed very hard and in whole game fouled 26 times (Barbados only 12). But Barbados thanks to great Q3 34-28 (93-84) they clinched important win over Estoni. After that they won too very close games with Japan and esspecially with New Zealend who played on 110%.
In Q1 they lost only 32 to 33. In Q2 all was again normal. With 18-33 (50-66) to Barbados. Great deffensive play by Killer Unpredict who get 8 steals and all was waiting to Q3 finish of the game by Barbados. But New Zealand put everything in those quarter. Great play by Carl Morley and Player Twelve putting 20 points each (7/7 first and 8/9 second player). And cut the score to 92-99 after Q3. New Zealand start Q4 to score two first points and score to 94-99 but that was all from them. After that Barbados take the game back to their side and finally won the game 131-141 and getting maybe second most important win for themself.
And when Italy won with Estonia they where very relived becuase in the last game with Italy they will only play for the first place in the group and not for the promotion. Both sides in this game played a little slow. With Italy controling the game 3/4 time of the game. Only in last quarter Barbados get the 22 points Italy advantage to 10 points after final whistle.

17 | Philippines | 141 – 66 | Iceland |
18 | Latvia | 160 – 106 | Romania |
Group F was in my opinion the most interesting, the most unpredictable and the most equal. Before the first games i really belive that Israel will be clear favorite with Philipines, Latvia and maybe Indonesia fighting for second place.
First games and first suprise. Latvia won with Philippines!!! And by 18 points. On the boards Latvia was unsttopable. They catch 59 rebounds (17 offense), Philipines only 21 (2 in offense). That was a blow to Philippenes side. Beacuse they have a uphill battle to get promotion.
Latvia in next game played with great confidence on the game with Israel. Look what it looks like: Q1 46-53, Q2 47-36 (93-89). Israel played very good and kept the game on their side. But in next quarter Latvia was on the roll in Q3 all players from Latvia score points and whon the quarter 43-53 and whole game 136-142. But still Israel was in the game and in Q4 all was thinking that they will get the extra push to win the game. But Latvia had put no to this charge and get away with power!!! Fox Karumnieks 32 points (42 in whole game), 4 assists, 1 rebound and Armands Šle 19 points (27 in whole game), 1 Block, 1 Steal and 10 assists, and 2 rebounds lead the Latvia to a 38-53 Q4 and whole game 174-195 to Latvia. MVP of the game
Natxo Jagger | PF | all | 60 | 22 /23 | – | 16 /16 | – | – | 1 | 10 | – | 1 | 2 | 30:55 |
That clearly demonstreted that Latvia is capable of winning the whole group!!!
Round 3 in this group was most important for all teams. Indonesia played Latvia (two wins each) and Israel with Philippines (one win each).
Latvia in third game in a row played with heart. They losed first quarter 45-36 but they did what they do the best. Score, score and once more score:). They won Q2 and Q3 and before the last quarter the score was: 111-109 to Indonesia. Latvia team thanks to this play:
05:43
[18 – 21] Fox Karumnieks – Free Throw Made
They was up by one point, and then
05:18
[20 – 25] Armands Šle – Jump Shot Made [17 PTS]
ASSIST Swat Saver
by three points lead. But Indonesia was still close and
Shadow™ – Jump Shot Made [24 PTS] ASSIST Chaos™ | 02:48 [30 – 30] |
Was again two point lead. Aftr that the lead changed two times. 32 seconds left in the game. Indonesia score and was leading by three points. Look what happend in this last 30 seconds:
Shadow™ – Jump Shot Made [30 PTS] ASSIST Bloodseeker™ | 00:32 [38 – 37] |
|
00:22 [38 – 39] |
Armands Šle – Jump Shot Made [23 PTS] ASSIST Fox Karumnieks
Shadow™ – Jump Shot Missed | 00:13 | Juniors Dunkss – Block |
00:12 | Armands Šle – Defensive Rebound
00:04 [38 – 41] |
Armands Šle – Jump Shot Made [25 PTS] ASSIST Swat Saver |
Deffensive rebound and BUUZER BEATER by Armands Šle to Latvia!!! Indonesia was shocked. They just watch like the Latvia team was making the celebration after 12 seconds of magic started by Juniors Dunkss block on Shadow™.
In second importatn game Israel and Philippines wanted to get back to fight for second place in the group. Israel was pretty scared and in Q1 they was not in the game losing 28-44 Q1. Israel coach KingJ get the team together and advice them to play with little less pressure and more confidence in next quarter. This work. They won Q2 50-31 and Q3 49-48. Thanks to that two great quarters they was leading the game 127-123.
Q4 was a diffrent story… With eight minutes left in Q4 Israel still lead by 4 points, fifth minutes the Israel lose the lead to Philipines first time form Q2. The confidence was gone in instant. Phillipiens was scoring on every angle and Israel was struggling. 1:48 Israel have 159 to 162 Philippines. That was it from Israel. Philippines score last 6 points of the game and won the most important game for them in the fight to second place in the group.
In round 4 Indonesia played with Philippines (two wins each team). And both teams knowed that this game will decide about who will get the second place in the group (Latvia had two easy games and was clear that they will won)
Indonesia respond with power and lead the game 7 points after first half. Philippines was not scared. They get to the second half with more confidence and won the Q3 41 to 36 and only two points behind.
Q4 was to be again in this group the deciding of all the game. But last querter was a disaster to Indoneisa team. Great deffensive play by Hammer N Tongs with 6 steals and 3 block put Indonesia team to score only 12 points. Philippines scored in mean time 30 and won game and firmly the second place in the group.
In last round nothing realy happend. Israel with no chance to the to the next round haven’t heart in the game and lost to Indonesia by a large margin. But Philippines won with Romania by almost 60 points, get the second place and promotion.
Interesting is this that best score points to lost points had Indonesia and if they won the game with Latvia the Philippines was be in big trouble to get promotion to next round.

20 | Serbia | 137 – 83 | Liechtenstein |
21 | Turkey | 105 – 153 | Poland |
This group was called the death group. It was here where played Poland, The tree time champions in last three seasons (4 times from the start of WSC) played. With Hong Kong that was always very dangeroues and not only played in final games of World Senior Championship but won the WSC one time. Greece who was always a team with a lot to offer. And Serbia with very young and highly motivated squad.
In first round games we almost had a little sensation. Poland played with Greece and before the Q4 they only had two points advantage. It was a little shock to Polish fans. But finally in Q4 they played like World Champions and won the game 117-109.
In second round we had less emotions. Poland played with Serbia and won very easily 130 to 98. In other games Hong Kong had a bit of struggle with Turkey 201 to 179 thanks to Q4 55-42.
Third round was a statment game between Hong Kong and Serbia. Hong Kong if he had won the game in last two had only won one game to get to the next round and if Serbia lose they will have only one game won and limited chance to advance to the next round.
Serbia had more to lose and attack the game like mad dogs. Leaded by Perturbado Mental and his 24 points they haded 30-26 advantage after Q1. But they did not have momentum for next quarter. Little tweaks in defense and Power Girl three steals and four block gaved 30-20 in Q2 and six points advantage for Hong Kong. In Q3 Serbia get the ball to their young star player

But the Hong Kong respond by a team work and whole team score some points:
Db Hakkinen | SG | 3 | 29 | 13 /13 | – | 3 /4 | 1 | – | – | – | – | 1 | – | 09:02 |

Derrick Mcgrady | SF | 3 | 10 | 4 /5 | – | 2 /2 | – | – | 1 | 13 | – | 1 | – | 12:00 |
Q3 55-50 to Hong Kong and eleven points lead before the last quarter. But Serbia did not hesitate and get one more try to change the outcome of the game. And they did it in style:
05:38
[130 – 130] Swipes Madness – Jump Shot Made [2 PTS]
ASSIST Niko Bellic
But that was last push. Serbia players was really exausted and lost the touch with Hong Kong. But in last minutes in the game by share will they get last one chance and get the game to only two points with 17 second till the end of the game. But after that Hong Kong had the ball and won the game.
Round 4 was clutch to solve the puzzle of group G promotions. Hong Kong with Poland for first place in the group and promotion to next round.
First two quarters was a fight for supremacy. Q1 37-32 to Poland but Q2 47-36 to Hong Kong. Half time score was 79-73 to Hong Kong. But old fox gregoff on the bench of Poland NT had some tricks in the sleeve and thanks to great play by:
Grzegorz Klepacz | PG | 3 | 48 | 17 /18 | – | 14 /14 | – | – | – | 1 | – | 2 | 1 | 12:00 |
and in defense:
Filon Pawlik | SG | 3 | 2 | 1 /1 | – | – | 4 | 3 | – | 2 | – | – | 3 | 12:00 |
Poland side broke the morale of Hong Kong and in Q4 they only control the game and won finally by 22 points. That was all for Poland. They had a promotion and in last game they eased off little bit. With five wins (32 in a row in three season of World Senior Championship) they get first place.
But the fight for the second was far from over. Serbia and Gress last chance to get some hopes of second place. Greece had been on the top with two wins to Serbia only one. Greece had a lot confident and they tell to the press that Serbia will be easy beaten by them and all are conentrating on the game with Hong Kong in last round.
That was a very bad judgment by Greece beacuse the Serbid did not calculated and in Q1 the score was 40 on Serbia side… 18 on Greece side!!!
That was a real horror for Greece FG Made-Attempted 4 – 19
In next quarter they did even wors. Only 11 points. But on the other side Serbia did score only 8 points.
FG Made-Attempted Greece |
2 – 19 – Serbia | 1 – 8 |
Only thanks to free throws the score was a little better than the play. But Greece in whole first half score only 6/38 Field Goals. That was a terrible. Only about 15%… And the score was 29-48. In Q3 both teams played a lot better in offense. But Serbia had put a final strike in to the Greece team by adding 6 more points of advantage to 25 in whole game.
In Q4 Greece struggle to do something. But they only managed to get the Serbia to 14 points. Serbia players dance after won this crucial game.
Now in round 5 was a very interesting situation. With three teams battled for advance to next round. In the best situation was Hong Kong. They only had to win with Greece. Second best was Serbia. They played with the
Liechtenstein |
that was the worst team in the Group (but had the best offensive player of the group stage…)
In the toughest situation was Greece. They had not only to win with Hong Kong but prey that Serbia will lose or only won with Liechtenstien by few points.
Greece had nothing to lose and played the best basketball in tourment. Hong Kong was paralized by Greece hard working team. And lost by 30 points 153 to 123. Hong Kong was out of the game but Serbia done their job and won with 50 points margin that clinched the second place by 19 points.
Look one time on the look of that three after round 3 games:
Hong Kong 3 56
Greece 2 52
Serbia 1 17
Who would think that Serbia can won last three games. Hong Kong will lost last two games and Greece will not maintain the advantage of the points over Serbia…

Group H had clear favorite in the USA Team and Canada fighting with France to get the promotion to the second stage. But France was ruled out of this fight only after round two. In first they lose to USA 181-162 and in second round they where devestated by Canada 151-94.
In third round Canada and USA two unbeaten teams play for the first place in the group. It was tough game and both sides clearly to beat the other team. Better start had USA with first quarter won 35 to 33. But in the Q2 USA make a little mistake. They where soo sure that they have the upper hand and attack by position of Drop Kick in Center by Black Out. Two young players fight all quarter. But Drop Kick made five fouls and played only nine minutes but Black Out score only 2/12 FG and 11/13 from the line. The score was devastating 30-17 in whole Q2. USA lost the initiative and Canada played till the end very wisely. Keeping slow tempo and not getting USA power house in to the work. 109-101 final score. After that both teams had two easy wins and both of them are in second round.
Those teams still are one of the best in the all cyberdunk world. And they still can have chance to rematch in next stages…

It was good game in first three quarter but in last the USA crushed Poland… But i think Poland can be proud. Semifinal of World Cup is very nice for them!!!

World Championsips – 1/4
We got to the last four teams. In last night for four teams the dream was over. Look in to my summary and you will know what happend to the great Lithuania team that was stoped on tracks. Why Spain lost a game to the Hong Kong that have only 6800 active players? And the two other games Estonia – Israel and Argentina – Poland where the fight for win was very, very hard.
USA | 128 – 98 | Lithuania |
Q1 | Q2 | Q3 | Q4 | Total |
24 | 40 | 32 | 32 | 128 |
21 | 26 | 23 | 28 | 98 |
The Televison, the newspapers had told that this game was played to early. That Lithuania and USA are worthy to play in the final game…. But the game was been played and look in to the quarters
Q1 24-21
The first quarter was very slow. The two teams played good in defense. Keith Goddard from the USA team had tough times (0/8 from two point range) and score only 4 points. But Adrenaline Rush® played great. Score 20 points for his team and the Lithuania players had only watched him in pain. But the big problem for them in first quarter was Arvydas Sabonis (1/14 FG). The main offensive power had score only 4 points… Marius Flatron only 2 points (0/4 FG) only Expecto Patronum had played good and with 9 points was the men that kept Lithuania in the game.
Q2 64 – 47 (24-21, 40-26)
This quarter was a lot better for the USA team. Their offense players Mike Dee and Steven Bubba had no problems with Lithuania deffense and both score 18 points. Lithuania was fighting hard but with Edmundas 12 points but only 2/14 from FG range and Samurai Lovetron™ with 4 points (1/10 FG). In half time the Lithuania had 17 points gap to USA team.
Q3 96 – 70 (24-21, 40-26, 32-23)
If someone in the Lithuania team had hopes to won this game the “USA BOYS” had good answer to this:
Arvydas Sabonis 9 poits (1/10 FG), Marius Flatron 12 points (3/17 FG). And the team USA: Keith Goddard 14 points (3/7 FG but 8/8 from Free throws line), Conner Richardson 12 points. The 26 points lead and only 12 minutes left. It was clear that this game is lost for the Lithuania National Team
Q4 128 – 98 (24-21, 40-26, 32-23, 32-28)
The fans of USA team was celebrating the win by all 12 minutes of Q4 and the Lithuania supporters was leaving the Arena or was crying and praying for miracle… that did not happend, the USA team was clearly better and finished the game with 30 points advantage..
Lithuania players had left the court very quick after the game with their eyes in the ground….

That was a very big loss for Lithuania team. The 30 points on this level is a gigantic win IMHO. The problem was not the defense beacuse (128 points by USA team is not that much). But the offense of Lithuania:
Arvydas Sabonis – 13 points 2/24
Edmundas – 20 points 2/21
Marius Flatron – 14 points 3/21
Samurai Lovetron™ – 6 points 2/18
The deffensive players of USA team had: 35 Blocks with Lithuania having only 8….

Estonia and Israel rushed quickly to offense in the start of the game. But no one had clear advantage dog fight was to continue till the last 4 minutes. Estonia side had 4 points advantage and in the last 30 second even 8 points but Raz Mrg 2 pointer got this to 6 points lead. The Israel Raz Mrg has struggle in the offense and score only 6 points. Only thaks to Yuval Nelinger and his 16 points the Estonia was not leading by 10 or more points. Estonia was leaded by Edgar Duncan (16 points) the hero of last game for Estonia team:).
Q2 68-67 (30-24, 38-43)
The second quarter was pure offense:) The Estonia side was not keen to get the Israel team on the lead and for first 9 minutes they have lead the game still 7 points. But after that Omri Casspi and Tony Montana had good finish and in last minute till the end Estonia lead only by 3 points. In last seconds of first half Omri Casspi scored too pointer and set the score to 68-67 for Estonia. Estonia played very well thanks to 3 pointers of Bill Cutting 25 points (6/12 for 3PT) and the Israel was leaded by duo of Omri Casspi 24 points (9/12 FG) and Tony Montana 17 points (4/7 FG)
Q3 93-103 (30-24, 38-43, 25-36)
Estonia started the second half of the game slowly and Israel had gain 3 point advantage in first couple minutes. But Estonia kept the game alive and get to the lead again but only for few seconds. Israel was getting away with the score in last 5 minutes. 83-85 was Israel leading but in next few minutes the score was 83-93 and even 87-99. The Estonia has stuggle to get something going in offense and with that no problems was having Israel. Edgar Duncan only 10 points (4/7 FG) and Jesper Bluekittty 9 points (3/8 FG) in Israel great quarter was played by: Yaron “armagedon” Z 18 points (5/9 FG, 8/8 FT) and Yuval Nelinger 16 points (5/11 FG, 6/6 FT).
Q4 129-143 (30-24, 38-43, 25-36, 36-40)
Estonia was aware that it will be now or never for them. They have to get to the game with aggresion and power to win this game. And they did it from the start!!! 104-109 after first too minutes, 111-113… and 115-115 after first four minutes!!! Estona was playing their best basketball in the game and tied the game!!! Israel coach mishale84 had to call Timeout to get thing right in his team. This did not help. The next two minutes (4:57 till the end of game) was still not good and Estonia leaded 128-125. But the Estonia players was very tired. The las couple actions was lucky for them and the Israel had still losing only by three points… After the game the Estonia players was crying i saw the tears in the eyes of grown man and this was very sad the whole Estonia crowd that cheared them in whole game was crying too. That what happend in the last 5 minutes was a disaster. Estonia scored only one point and the Israel team scored them 18… hexinaator coach of Estonia team was trying in the timeouts to get something going but the Israel players lead by Raz Mrg and Omri Casspi both 14 points had crushed the Estonia side…

Hong Kong – 6,800 active players
Spain – 41,600 active players
It was clear that the Spain is the favorite of this game. The best manager in the whole Cyberdunk, one of the most active comunnity and number on league in Cyberdunk. It was clear that the Spain had more advantages than Hong Kong. But one advantage, maybe most important one was on Hong Kong side: “Phenomenal Warriors” – team from Golden League that was not only full of Hong Kong players but also is owned by hakkinen the coach of Hong Kong national team.
Q1 33-25
Hong Kong strike first:) The players was very determinated to get an edge over Spain in first quarter. They played with passion and had early lead that was still bigger and bigger… 22-9!!! 13 point lead in the first quarter. But the Spain kept playing and in last minutes of the game from 30-17 they had get to score 33-25. Not very good but still not very bad. The problem for Spain was that the only player that score some points was Anakin Skywalker 18 points but only 6/12 from FG and only 6/12 from FT line. The Hong Kong had Hkcm Hakkinen 21 points (6/13 FG, 9 /14 FT) and Derrick Mcgrady 10 points (3/9 FG, 4/4 FT).
Q2 69-70 (33-25, 36-45)
Second quarter was clearly better for Spain offense. The advantage of Hong Kong was 4 then only 2 points and after 5 minutes Spain was leading for the first time from the start of the game (44-45). The dog fight was till the end of the quarter. No one wanted to let the other team for more than two-three points. The biggest advantage for Spain was 2:29 till the end of first half (59-63). But Hong Kong kept pushing and in last seconds of the first half thanks to Lewis Hakkinen two pointer Spain leaded only by one point. Now in Spain the two offensive guys done all the work: Javier Mateu 21 pts (10/11 FG, 1/2 FT) and Giovanni Maria 20 pts (9/11 FG, 2/2 FT) in Hong Kong most scoring was Klinsmann Reborn 21 pts (6/10 FG, 6/6 FT) and Lewis Hakkinen 14 pts (5/7 FG, 4/4 FT)
Q3 106-108 (33-25, 36-45, 37-38)
The second half of the game. Spain attacked first. They relly wanted to decide the game in this quarter. First thre minutes and the score was 79-89, biggest advantege of the game for Spanish team. But Hkcm Hakkinen kept the Hong Kong in the game and with faith scored point after point and finaly the advantage of Spain was only 4 points. And that little advantage was till the last minutes when Hong Kong scored few points and in last seconds Hkcm Hakkinen had a chance to score points and tied the game but George Smuria blocked him and the Spain was leading by two points. The final quarter will be the most important in whole game!
Q4 143-138 (33-25, 36-45, 37-38, 37-30)
Hong Kong quickly tied the game and even get two points advantage. Spain had lost momentum and Hong Kong get 5 point advantage 123-118 it was first problems for Spain but quick Time out for the Spain and their score to two points advantage of Hong Kong in last two minutes of the game 134-132… but suprising that was all for Spain. The Hong Kong once againg get the advantage to safe 5 point lead and control the game till the end. Spain players was struggling to score and when the advantage was 6 points the hope for winning the game was gone for them…
All players in Spain had problems to score much points in last quarter: Javier Mateu 13 pts and Anakin Skywalker 12 pts but in Hong Kong got most points than those two from Spain Shota Chau with 29 points.

Hong Kong was my team to win the World Championship and win over very good Spain team is prove of that. The two teams was playing good but i think Spain only 90% of their potential and Hong Kong for 100%

the game of two teams that was not from the first pages of the World Championship. But one of them will be playing in the Semifinal of the World Championship.
Q1 28-40
First quarter was cruvial for this game. The Poland side from 8-10 get to the score 14-28 and finaly 28-40. The problem was Jose Luis Alvaredo 6 points (0/11 FG) without his points the Poland side with Adam Zarach 22 points and Marcinek “teardrop” Ender 18 points clearly outscored the Argentina team.
Q2 60- 75 (28-40, 32-35)
In second quarter Argeninta had claved back 7 points (48-53). But Poland was playing better and better and had not only back to the 12 point lead from first quarter but get three more points and in the half time Argentina had losing by 15 points. Manu Ginobili scored 16 pts but only 2/18 and in Poland three players score most of the points: Matt Whiteguy 10 pts (3/6 FG), Piotr Wionczyk 10 pts (4/5 FG) and Jedrzej Dobrowolski 13 points (5/8 FG)
Q3 90-104 (28-40, 32-35, 30-29)
In third quarter Poland was playing a little slower and more focus on defense to get this good score till the end of the game. Argentina was relly trying but Poland has answer to all points scored by Argentina. Again the Jose Luis Alvaredo had problems with scoring from FG, 14 pts (2/12 FG, 10/10 FT), Nahuel Alvaredo 11 pts (5/7). Poland was leaded by Grzegorz Wiecek 20 pts (7/13 FG, 6/6 FT).
Q4 123-136 (28-40, 32-35, 30-29, 33-32)
Last quarter was the same like third. The Poland kept the good advantage and Argentina had no chance to get back to the game… It was sad beacause we saw that Argentina is playing very hard but this was not enough for Poland today.

Interview with hail2skins
Hail2skins – one of the best managers in Cyberdunk. Maybe “the best” manager in Cyberdunk. In manager hall of fame he is on third… and fifth place (two accounts to have two teams) . In this season he is also leading USA National Team to victory in World Championships.
I don’t know how many players he have but we all know he is selling a lot of Cyberpoints and thanks to that not only having fun with this game but also are making money on it!
Gregoff: Hello Hail (can I call you hail?). You are cleary a very good manager and with USA he did not face a lost game in group stage. But with Italy you won only by one point. You where resting your primary players?
hail2skins: You can call me hail. Many call me worse, including Omnem. Italy was an interesting game for us in that we had the group won. I wanted to experiment with a tactic and did. It almost backfired for sure. I spoke to the Italy coach before the game and said he could get an upset. I was almost right.
Gregoff: I watched all your games in group stage. You won easily with Colombia (128-62), Japan (133-87), you crushed Australia (147-37) and won again very easy with Jamaica (118-76) and about Italy game we talk earlier. Did you expect that the group stage will be so easy?
hail2skins: Actually, yeah. I built my team in a way that would have been hard to beat in the group stage. It may have limited upside as we move forward, but we kind of felt with some of the things we did in the group stage that no one would be able to answer it.
Gregoff: In the second round of World Championship you got very weak Slovenia and again you won with a large margin. But in next round is waiting Lithuania. What you think about this game?
hail2skins: Lithuania is a tough team. Expecto is a global elite defender. They have a lot of nice split builds, capable of playing good all around defense and scoring very effectively. With custom gear they can make an attack a surprising one we don’t expect. If you lined both our teams up and told one another where you’d be, they couldn’t beat us, but, this game is about guessing. If they and well they can pound us.
Gregoff: I think you will win with Lithuania but this will be not a easy task. Do you have some secret weapons for Lithuania?
hail2skins: Tactics are tactics. I’m going to try to score more points than them. That’s always my “secret”.
Gregoff: The voting for coaches of the National Teams is now underway. I saw that lewyk has now the most votes. You are not starting?
hail2skins: I think the game is making a mistake with annual World Championships. People should not be petitioning for NEXT year BEFORE this year is over. They should at least skip a year. I’ve decided not to participate in the World Championships next season, and probably will leave the role to others in the future so they can enjoy the game as much as I have.
Gregoff: I freaquently ask question about what team (besides yours) have the most chances to win the World Championsip?
hail2skins: I think Spain and the Hong Hakkinens can do it. They play each other so that’s a tough draw. Spain showed in the group stage that anyone can be beaten though, as I did against Italy. The wrong tactics on the wrong day and any of the final 8 can win this thing. Israel is a team to watch. Lots of high end scoring and a very aggressive player base.
Gregoff: Thanks for the interview. I know that you don’t have a much time and i’m very thankfull for that interview Good luck in next games!!!
hail2skins: Thanks. It’s a good thing you do for the game in keeping the championships in scope for everyone. Good luck to the teams that are left. I do hope they all finish no better than second though
